Checklist

Seasonal decor swap checklist

This is for anyone who wants the home to feel right for the season without buying a new set of decor each time. Plan on about one to two hours, or do one section at a time. Your ticks stay in this browser, so you can come back and finish.

1. Decide what stays
2. Textiles
3. Light
4. Greenery and accessories
5. Storage and finish

Your ticks are saved only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Why this order

The checklist starts by fixing what will not change, because a swap only stays small when the base is settled. Textiles come next since they give the biggest change for the least money and store flat. Light follows because daylight shifts with the seasons and evenings feel colder when the lamps are wrong. Greenery and accessories come last because they are the easiest to overdo. If the rotation does not fit in one bin per season, the usual fix is owning less, not buying a bigger box.

Where this comes from

The steps are taken from the site's own seasonal styling guide and its summer coziness guide, which are researched from published design and home-care advice, not from our own trials. The plant safety line reflects commonly published pet-safety lists; check a current list for your animals. This is general information, not professional advice.
